Turning Dreams Into Goals – 3 Tips

One way to turn your dreams into goals and then into reality is by developing your personal set of success principles.

Abundant living requires you to do things differently than those whom are stuck in whatever routine that keeps them from succeeding. Having clear principles that are geared to success, and that give you actions you can follow along, measurable actions, will turn your dreams of abundant living into reality.

1. Attend your vibration first.

Your state of mind is the most important asset and most important tool to create abundance. Get into a mindset that combines gratitude, with optimism and determination. A willingness to be thankful for what you have – and the lessons you learned. A knowing that, there are opportunities for those who are willing to look for them, and that failure are only lessons in disguise, and last, making a true commitment to doing whatever it takes to get to where you want to be.

2. Action plan

Compile a list of small daily actions that you can take toward your goal. The key word in this step is small. A small action does not take much time, but if stacked and combined with other small actions, the momentum you are beginning to create will carry you toward your goals.

3. Commit.

Make yourself a promise, a vow if you will and thoroughly commit to the road you have planned on taken. Only a intense commitment to not stop, to adjust steps if needed, but to not stop, no matter what the world throws at you will carry you through to success. You can not and will not succeed without a strong commitment to your goals. Write this commitment on a piece of paper. Read it daily, at least once a day.

These three steps are only the beginning, but they will set you on the right direction toward the path of abundance. Start today. Start now. Your point of power is in this moment.

Being Of Service

Being of Service

Today, ask yourself and the Universe this question:

“How can I be off service today?”

I always smirked at this sentence, because I did not understand it. Being of service does not mean, giving yourself and all of what you have to benefit others, in an act of self-sacrifice. Being of service is actually bringing and creating value. If you solve a problem, issue, question or can give insight from a different point of view someone might have never seen before, you are being of service. The higher the quality your “being of service” is, the more value you bring to the world and in return you will receive value – may it be through connection, or in best case scenarios, monetary compensation. If you can find a way to make “Being Of Service” your job, combined with your inner most passion, nothing – and I mean nothing – is impossible.

The Not So Bright Side of Life – Surviving Childhood Abuse

I am a survivor of child abuse.

I know I usually write something uplifting in this blog, but over the last few days I was forced to confront a situation that made me think back to a time, I do not want to recall. You see, my abuser has passed last year, and now his enabler decides that she needs me in her time of sickness. I am supposed to be the good little daughter, whom stands by her side.

But I am not that.

I feel like screaming into the empty space around me, screaming at her how dare she asks for me to help her? Where was she when I needed her? Where was her protection, the fearlessness that I feel when I look at my children, the willingness to die for them, if anyone would dare to do them harm?

Guilt –  is a weapon that is used by many abusers and their enablers to remain in control. Because that is what abuse is about, control, a need to show power over someone that is younger and vonurable. Guilting the victim into doing what they need them to do, to satisfy their needs. In their mind it is always about them.

What she does not count on are two things:

I am no longer a child and I am no longer a victim.

I am a survivor, a mother, a successful business woman, a writer, a motivator, a healer, a wife, and a daughter-in-law. I am free and I am stronger because of what I survived.

To this day, my husband, the champion of my life, my rescuer, and constant believer in me, does not know how much I actually went through. He will never know. I will never tell. And the details do no longer matter. Because they have lost its power.

So, why am I writing this? Because I feel the need for closure, a public statement of saying Goodbye to a family I no longer can have in my life, and a turn toward those who need me instead. It is a good bye to a woman who instead of protecting me, was jealous of the attention “her” man gave me. Not an attention any little girl wants.

Forgiving is not about letting the abusers and their helpers win, it is about acknowledging what happened, saying your piece and moving on, away, without anymore ties to that past. It is allowing yourself and them to move on, without each other, without any more power exchange.

Instead of screaming, I am letting go, I am allowing her to find her piece, but not with me, without me. I can live with my choice. She needs to learn to live with hers. And die with it.

Meaning Of Struggle

Do you believe in your dreams? Are you willing to fail for your dreams, so you can succeed?

Every moment, every breath, every struggle has a meaning. What the meaning is, is entirely up to you. You assign the responds, the direction. It only takes a minor shift to change your life in a more profound way, then you can imagine at this very moment.

Choose wisely.

From A Point Of Love

Share and act from a point of love. May this love stem from  empathy, compassion, the desire to share a burden of another, or the need to uplift. If it’s origin is love, the truth in your action will shine a bright light upon it, more powerful then the mere act, and bind together with the acts of others with the same intend. This combined intend of love moves mountains, creates worlds, changes everything.

Have a wonderful day!

Hindu Prayer Interrupted In Senate By Christians

This made me really sad yesterday, as I saw it the first time. Are we really in this state of mind, that we can not allow another to pray in the way they choose to? What do you think?

The WordPress C(h)ronicle

Christian activists briefly disrupted a Hindu invocation in the U.S Senate on Thursday, marring a historic first for the chamber and showing that fundamentalism is present and shouting in the U.S too.
