Compassion And Gratitude

The next time you are confronted with a condition or circumstance you judge to be problematical, express your immediate gratitude not only for the solution but for the problem itself. By so doing, you instantly change your perspective on it, and your attitude about it.
~Neale Donald Walsch

“Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive.” ~Dalai Lama

5 Easy Things You Can Give Up For A Positive Life – And What To Do Instead

Give Up These 5 Easy Things
1. Give up complaining- formulate action statements instead
We all do it – from time to time. But let’s be honest, when was the last time you have complained  and as a result, positive change occurred? I guess that you will be hard pressed to find an actual occurrence of that happening. So, why are we continuing to do it? Sharing your complaint can temporary make you feel better, but it will not bring about the lasting change you are looking for.
Instead, learn to change your complaint statements into action statements, by adding a little more to your thought than before.
Here is an example of what I mean:
“I wish my co- worker would respect other people’s space more.”
Instead of leaving it like that, change it to “I wish my co-worker would respect other people’s space more, and I am going to politely ask her to do so, next time she does it again.
Whether you follow through on your statement or not, you have begun to train yourself to look for solutions whenever a problem occurs, rather than just stating a complaint. Now a complaint can become an agent of change.
2. Give up trying to impress others – become clear about what you want for yourself
This decision to give up the need to impress others has  a profound impact on your financial well-being and  an essential step to take to reach your  personal and financial success. Do you really need that latest gadget or this particular designer that is in style, or are you only purchasing it, you can be seen with it.  Make sure your motivations for purchases and decision are that of serving you – not the impression you give to others. Any financial decision should be based on your values, comfort, and personal style. Take some time to find out what is the best personal path for you, and follow that – regardless what the trend is.

3.Give up your resistance to change – push beyond your comfort zone
Resistance to change is a major blockade in developing personal growth. Yet for some people who set a high value on certainty, embracing change can be a rather difficult endeavor.
Here are some reasons why people resist change:
1. Sense of loss of control
2. Concern about competence
3. Concern about taking on more work
4. Concern that change might hurt
5. Concern that others might not embrace your change.
Whichever one of these reasons you have for not embracing change, consider identifying the root cause of resistance and work through it, maybe with the help of a Coach, trusted friend or adviser. If this path of sole-searching brings up old wounds that you can not seem to find a way to get through, you might want to consider some more in depth therapy to resolve those issues once and for all.
4. Give up excuses – take responsibility for your responses and future, now.
Building sustainable habits requires us to give up excuses, but why do we keep making them in the first place?
The main reasons behind why most people make excuses is, because of resistance to change and the fear of pain.
Yet how do we overcome this in order to move on?
The most important step to giving up excuses is to know why you want a different experience in you life.  Without a compelling reason, there is hardly any chance for long-term change, as it is the reason behind a goal, not willpower that pushes us through to the end, even when it gets hard. If your goals do not have a compelling reason, adjust your goals until you find what excites you for a good reason, rather than a momentary whim.
5. Give up the past – visualize your ideal future instead
In order to learn to let go off the past, one has  to learn to be truly present in the present.
This sounds too simple to be true, yet it is the most powerful truth you can embrace when it comes to overcoming a difficult past – focusing on the moment. Mindfulness meditations, gratitude practice, and breathing exercises can move your thoughts from being stuck in what used to be, toward what is right now, forcing you to connect with the only moment of power – the present moment. Practicing those techniques regularly as a part of your morning and/or evening routine, makes it easier to engage in the now, and create lasting change. Visualizing your goals on a regular basis, is an important part of this new directing your thoughts, and gives you a chance to practice the emotional vibration of the state of your desires. Combining both techniques will after time ease the stronghold of past times over your life, and you will create an overall healthier and happier future.
Have a blessed week!

Turning Dreams Into Goals – 3 Tips

fa2a867ee58540395b0823fdb9bff326

One way to turn your dreams into goals and then into reality is by developing your personal set of success principles.

Abundant living requires you to do things differently than those whom are stuck in whatever routine that keeps them from succeeding. Having clear principles that are geared to success, and that give you actions you can follow along, measurable actions, will turn your dreams of abundant living into reality.

1. Attend your vibration first.

Your state of mind is the most important asset and most important tool to create abundance. Get into a mindset that combines gratitude, with optimism and determination. A willingness to be thankful for what you have – and the lessons you learned. A knowing that, there are opportunities for those who are willing to look for them, and that failure are only lessons in disguise, and last, making a true commitment to doing whatever it takes to get to where you want to be.

2. Action plan

Compile a list of small daily actions that you can take toward your goal. The key word in this step is small. A small action does not take much time, but if stacked and combined with other small actions, the momentum you are beginning to create will carry you toward your goals.

3. Commit.

Make yourself a promise, a vow if you will and thoroughly commit to the road you have planned on taken. Only a intense commitment to not stop, to adjust steps if needed, but to not stop, no matter what the world throws at you will carry you through to success. You can not and will not succeed without a strong commitment to your goals. Write this commitment on a piece of paper. Read it daily, at least once a day.

These three steps are only the beginning, but they will set you on the right direction toward the path of abundance. Start today. Start now. Your point of power is in this moment.

Goddess blessings!

4 Tips For Overcoming Difficult Times (Law of Attraction)

4 Tips On Overcoming Difficult Times - Law of Attraction

As a practitioner of Law of Attraction, we are told that we attract all of  our situations, and will continue to attract the same  situations if we approach life the same way we have before. Negative will attract negative, and positive will attract positive.

During times when our lives seems out of control, and we wobble from that knowing, we need to remind herself, that we HAVE to stay on track, otherwise our situations will not improve.

But how to do that, when everything feels like it is falling apart?

  1. Rest in the knowing it is only temporary. No situation lasts forever, and even if at this moment and time, you do not feel like there is an end in sight, remind yourself of times when other situations that where not in your favor eventually ended. There is relief in knowing that trouble is always temporary.
  2. Distract yourself. Deal only with the situation when you really have to, do not wallow in it, or rehash it in conversation with others. Take the actions you need to take, and then do something you love – may it be listen to music, read a few pages of your favorite book, create some form of art, or watch a short comedy. Allow yourself to be completely emerged by that moment of distraction, and acknowledge how good it felt, before you go back to dealing with the issues at hand.
  3. Know that growth requires learning from diverse situations. How to deal with stressful situations is an important lesson to learn, and once you master staying mostly positive even when obstacles come your way, these obstacles will appear less and less in your life. Be grateful for the lesson you learned, and look at the little bits of good that came out of the situation, may it be that you became more resourceful, or that you did not waiver from your path, despite everything.
  4. Be grateful. The most important and effective technique for Law of Attraction is gratitude. Finding gratitude in every situation is always possible, because there is always something to be grateful for. A hug, a breeze, the sound of birds, a warm day, your food, the potential and your ability for learning, are just some examples. If you are really looking for something to be grateful for, you will find it in EVERY situation.

It is entirely possible to stay at least mostly positive during the most stressful times. Your outlook will not only make it easier for you to overcome the present situation, but it will also put you in the better frame of mind to attract a more positive life from here on out. The less these situations rock you, the less they will appear, and you are on your way to a more balanced and comfortable life.

Happy co-creating

Claudia

Don’t Shoot The Messenger

Don't Shoot The Messenger

As I work more and more with Law of Attraction and Gratitude, I have come to the conclusion that I have to learn one very important lesson:

Be aware of the message, while not judging the messenger.

Often I asked for answers to questions, that I am stuck on, and when the Universe answers, it does not always answer through a person whom I particularly enjoy, or in a package I totally agree with. For example, I have been reading a book on promoting one’s writing, and the book ended up being a shameless plug of the Author’s own services and companies. It pissed me off at first, so much so, that I did not want to look at the fact that some of what she is writing are actually worthwhile tips. But than I remembered to asked:

Does it really matter what her motives where, or if she actually been as successful as she claimed (which a quick Google search proofed to be wrong), if what she is saying has partially merit?

No, it does not, because I can take from that book or from any other message I receive the parts that I need, and be grateful for them, rather than wallow in the fact, that the person who wrote it, or brought it to me, does not live up to my standards. That is my problem, not theirs, and that judgment will only take me away from the potential gain – for one, the gain of insight and secondly, the opportunity to be grateful.

My responds will determine what I can do with whatever I have been given. By not “shooting the messenger”, I can actually focus on the message, and learn, grow and use the principles that I have dedicated my life to studying, and practicing.

I Am Beginning To Understand – A Lesson In Shadow Work

I am beginning to understand.

I am beginning to understand, that what I once saw as a burden, I can see as an opportunity.

I am beginning to understand, that my responds to the world is a hell of a lot more important to the outcome of anything, than any situation.

I am beginning to understand, that contrast can be a good thing, if I choose to allow it to be.

I am beginning to understand, that kindness is always possible.

I am beginning to understand, that most importantly, I have to be kind to myself.

I am beginning to understand, that everyone else is scared to.

I am beginning to understand, that I can ease someone else’s fears quite easily with kindness.

I am beginning to understand, that I am more powerful, than I thought possible.

I am beginning to understand, that I can really have it all.

I am beginning to understand, how wonderful this complex world really is.

I am beginning to understand.

How Battles Are Won

file1371271569340

Battles are won, not by those inactively waiting for change, but by those who become agents of change. Those who use their voice in ways their situation allows and enables them, via platforms that are ever changing.

If you reach one, or a million, the amount is less important then the choice to speak, when others choose silence. It only takes one to make a difference.
