Meaning Of Struggle

Do you believe in your dreams? Are you willing to fail for your dreams, so you can succeed?

Every moment, every breath, every struggle has a meaning. What the meaning is, is entirely up to you. You assign the responds, the direction. It only takes a minor shift to change your life in a more profound way, then you can imagine at this very moment.

Choose wisely.

From A Point Of Love

happysoul

Share and act from a point of love. May this love stem from  empathy, compassion, the desire to share a burden of another, or the need to uplift. If it’s origin is love, the truth in your action will shine a bright light upon it, more powerful then the mere act, and bind together with the acts of others with the same intend. This combined intend of love moves mountains, creates worlds, changes everything.

Have a wonderful day!

How Battles Are Won

Battles are won, not by those inactively waiting for change, but by those who become agents of change. Those who use their voice in ways their situation allows and enables them, via platforms that are ever changing.

If you reach one, or a million, the amount is less important then the choice to speak, when others choose silence. It only takes one to make a difference.

Hindu Prayer Interrupted In Senate By Christians

This made me really sad yesterday, as I saw it the first time. Are we really in this state of mind, that we can not allow another to pray in the way they choose to? What do you think?

The WordPress C(h)ronicle

Christian activists briefly disrupted a Hindu invocation in the U.S Senate on Thursday, marring a historic first for the chamber and showing that fundamentalism is present and shouting in the U.S too.

Empowered

download (39)

We are empowered by our friends, online or offline, sometimes more then we are empowered by those who are a part of our biological family. Many times, our private little cheering section (or the friends who tell us like it really is) are what keep us from holding back, giving up, breaking down.

With that in mind, I want to take this opportunity to examine our own ability to be that cheering section, that encouraging, needed friend. A little act of kindness, and a moment to stop, and write a few encouraging words to someone who might not be a “friend” in a traditional sense, can mean the difference between a good day and a really bad one, or a devastating decision and the realization that there is hope.

The internet in particular can be a world filled with trolls and unkind voices. We can be different though, we can choose to be the empowering.

So I will challenge myself to be more of that person, who empowers, who sits in the cheering section, even if that cheering section might be in front of a laptop half across the world from you.

And I would love for you to join me!

Time For Some Bloglovin!

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

So glad that the A to Z Challenge month is over, and I can pay more attention to this blog. For the month of April, my writing/reviewing/movie blog  has gotten all of the attention, but now it is time to share the little bit of blogging time I have between both.

And I have so much exiting stuff planned!

First of all, I will continue to participate in the Pagan Blog Project. I know, I know, that was the plan all along, but hey, there are only so many hours in the day.

Upcoming book reviews: I have some really cool Pagan books I want to share with you, with upcoming release dates!

And of course, it is time to share some thoughts on the practical side of being a Witch, what I think of spiritual practice in relationship with food, real life Witchy living, and stuff like that.

So follow me via WordPress or Bloglovin – you can also find me on Twitter as @homeschoolwitch.

Hugs and Goddess blessings!
